Taste of… Rigid Heddle Weaving - full day
Suzy Hokanson
Sat Feb 19 - 10:15am-4pm - Studio
$60 members/ $80 non-members
Bring your own rigid heddle loom or reserve one of the guild’s loom. We will learn to warp your loom with the direct method so you can begin to weave. Once completed, we will begin to explore different weaving possibilities to create a unique scarf. Class size - 4 participants.
SUPPLIES - Bring your own yarns - leftover and scrap yarn is great for what you’ll be weaving. For the warp (the yarns threaded on the loom) you will need to provide 2 4oz. skeins of contrasting colored sport or DK weight yarn. You can bring a 3rd skein as your background color.
