Joan Shinnick

Come join the Guild for a fun afternoon of hand weaving. Joan Shinnick will guide

us through the construction of a small bag or purse woven on a small hand loom.

These little purses are gems. They can be made to carry wallets, cell phones, cash

and cards. This project is a great stash buster! The materials fee covers the cost of

a small loom that can be used many times. Bring your favorite yarns or use the

class offerings.

Joan has always had an interest in the arts. After retiring from teaching 15 years

ago, she learned to weave. Joan is a member of the Jekyll Island Weavers. She

also takes pottery classes and has a workroom full of projects ready to spring to

life!

Materials fee $10.00 paid to instructor to Joan.
