Not Your Ordinary Necklace! - Doris designed these beautiful necklaces of beads that are strung on trellis yarn with a special needle. Then the beads are individually single crocheted into a string.
Materials Fee: $15 for mixed colored size 2 beads, trellis yarn in a variety of colors, a special needle and a magnet closure payable to DORIS at the workshop.
Growing up in Switzerland, DORIS was taught to knit, crochet and sew at an early age and it has been a hobby throughout her professional career. After retirement, creating with fibers and beads, be it craft or art, have become a reality. DORIS is a longtime member of the Kobo Gallery, Gallery 80 on Tybee as well as at the Jepson Center gift shop.
